Before I put together a proposal, I'd like to learn a bit about you and what you're building. The more I understand your project, the more tailored and useful my proposal will be.

What makes your approach different?

I start with strategy, not aesthetics. I take the time to understand who you are, what kind of clients you want to attract, and the positioning and personality you want your brand to achieve. This helps me understand your brand in depth and build an identity that feels cohesive to your business. My background in visual communication and brand strategy fundamentals shapes how I approach each project. I look at what a business needs beyond the visuals before I design anything.

Can you just refresh part of my brand instead of doing everything?

Brands that need constant design updates usually lack direction and clarity on who they are right now and how they want to be perceived long term. As the brand evolves and its positioning shifts, everything starts to feel inconsistent or patched together. That's why I believe a strategic brand identity system matter for brands at any stage. They establish positioning and consistency for the long run, so you're not second-guessing what will work. They also help you avoid wasting money on constant tweaks that don't bring the right impact for your business.

How long does a project take?

It depends on what's included in the project scope and a few other factors. An essential brand identity project with only the core visuals (logo suite, colors, typography) and a small guideline usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. While larger projects that include strategy workshops and more deliverables, such as print and digital collateral, can take 4 to 6 weeks. Timelines can also shift depending on how quickly you can provide feedback and how many people are involved in reviewing the work. That's why, before I send you a proposal, I make sure to understand your business needs in depth so I can give you a timeline that fits your project and is fair for both sides.

Do you design logos only?

I don’t offer logo-only services because a logo alone is only one piece of a brand, and on its own will not bring the consistency needed for your brand to work effectively in the long run. My process is built around creating identities where every element (the typography, the colours, the visual language, and the tone) is designed to work together from the beginning. That's what makes a brand feel complete and intentional rather than patched together. If your brand is ready for a fresh start, I'd love to be part of that.

How are payments handled? do you offer payment plans?

Projects are split into two payments: 50% upfront and 50% upon completion. For larger projects, flexible payment plans are available and we can discuss a structure that works for you. Payments are handled via bank transfer, Wise, or through the platform where the project is booked, whichever works best for you.

Do you work with AI-generated logos or assets?

Not in logos or concepts. Logo concepts, typography, colours, icons and all other brand elements are designed from scratch by me. Good design comes from understanding your brand in depth, and that's not something a prompt can do. So the final concepts you get are built on my own expertise, strategy and the research I put into your brand specifically. I only use AI tools at earlier stages to improve presentations or speed up parts of my workflow. For example, I use AI-generated mockups to show how a brand could look across different touchpoints, and to help define a visual direction when a brand needs something more specific. I also use AI to transcribe meetings so I can capture the important details without having to re-listen or re-write my notes. None of this replaces the design work itself. It just helps me present ideas faster and stay organised.

What exactly do I receive at the end of the project? do I get full ownership of the files?

Once the project is complete and a final payment is received, you'll receive all final design files in all the formats you need for print and digital use such as AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, SVG, PNG, JPEG and PDF, alongside a brand guideline document that shows how to use everything consistently, giving you full ownership of your brand assets, so you can use them across all touchpoints. Depending on your package, this can also include additional deliverables such as social media templates or print collateral. Source files or development files are not included in the final deliverables, only the final design files.

Should I invest in branding now, or wait until my product or service is more established?

Both matter, but they support each other rather than compete. A strong brand identity helps people trust your product or service faster, which makes it easier to sell what you're already building. A great product with a weak brand presence won't generate the trust and connection it needs with its audience. At the same time, branding can't compensate for a poor product. The real goal is strong alignment between the two, so your product or service offer and its visual presence are equally strong.

If my business isn't in an industry you usually work with, can we still work together?

Yes, my process is built around understanding your specific business needs, regardless of which industry or sector it works in. If you are not sure whether we’re a fit, reach out, and we can talk it through.
