MANGUE — Premium Quality Spread
Mangue boasts a vibrant and inviting brand identity that captures the essence of pure mango indulgence.
The main challenge for the brand packaging was to create an elegant and eye-catching label design for MANGUE's marmalade glass jar. The design needed to highlight the premium quality of the product with gold details while showcasing the mango flavor through appealing illustrations. The packaging had to stand out on the shelves, convey the brand's luxurious yet natural essence, and ensure functionality and user-friendliness.

The main challenge was to create a premium, tactile brand identity for an organic mango spread that reads handcrafted on the shelf, communicates freshness, and feels authentic without being rustic or cheap. The identity should scale across labels, hero photography, and limited collateral.

The logo centers on a vintage, realistic yet stylized mango illustration used as the hero mark, with simplified lockups and alternate wordmarks to ensure legibility at jar-lid, label, and thumbnail scales.
The color system is drawn from mango peel gradients and leaf greens, organized into primary and accent tones so packaging reads fresh and appetizing at a glance.
Typography pairs a modern, elegant display for the brand name with a handwritten script for taglines and product text. BN Romaine identified as a primary typeface while web-safe fallbacks are provided for digital use.
The packaging approach prioritizes a clean, minimalist layout that lets the product color show through, while labels layer watercolor washes and line-art orchard illustrations to communicate artisanal origin, and textured matte stocks and selective finishes signal premium tactile quality.
Imagery direction focuses on close-ups of ripe mangoes, hero shots of the product visible through glass, and provenance photography of growers to support authenticity storytelling. All elements were designed to scale across label sizes, hero photography, and collateral, and to be delivered as export-ready vector files, print-ready PDFs, and clear material and finish specs for vendors.
